Burj Al Arab

Palm Jumeirah
The Palm Islands are made up from three
man-made islands built from over 1 billion cubic meters of sand and
stone dredged from the creek and the surrounding sea bed. The
complex is laid out to resemble a giant palm tree when seen from
above and houses super luxury spas, high-end holiday accommodation,
dive sites, theatres and a massive variety of popular tourist
attractions. |

The "Dynamic Tower"
The first moving building in the world will be
built, where else, in Dubai, home to all the revolutionary
architectural wonders in recent years. Designed by Italian architect
David Fisher, the Dynamic Tower will be made up of 80 pre-fabricated
apartments rotating around a central column, with the help of 79
giant wind turbines placed between the floors. |

Rose Tower
This skyscraper, whose construction began in
2004, was to be 380 m (1,247 feet) high, but its projected height
was reduced in further design modification. Even at this reduced
height it will still become home the world's tallest hotel. |

The Palm Jumeirah on the Jumeirah coastal area |

The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial island created using
land reclamation by Nakheel, a company owned by the Dubai
government. It is one of three islands called The Palm
Islands which will increase Dubai’s shoreline by a total of
520 km. The Palm Jumeirah is the smallest and the original
of three Palm Islands (Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and
Palm Deira) under development by Nakheel. It is located on
the Jumeirah coastal area of the emirate of Dubai, in the
United Arab Emirates (UAE).
